國科會腦科技專案推動辦公室為推動下一期的專案計畫，預計將以 Brain x AI 為主題向政府爭取專案研究計畫經費，希望能促進人工智慧與生物智慧的交互影響。目的除了將AI技術應用於腦科學研究，也希望將腦科學的成果引入AI領域做創新研究。

這樣的研究需要跨領域的深入交流與合作。為此，腦科技專案推動辦公室將繼續舉辦一系列Brain x AI 討論會，邀集國內相關領域專家一同討論，經由交流找出可實際推動的研究領域與方向，以及促進可能的跨領域研究。

此次 Brain x AI 討論會，我們特別邀請郭宗杰院士深入探索現代人工智慧與人類智慧的重要異同。此外，我們還安排三場重要的專題演講：羅中泉教授將分享如何運用神經科學的觀念改善AI設計；張亞寧教授將介紹語言、腦功能與計算之間的研究成果；阮啟弘教授則討論如何將AI技術與神經科學結合，協助治療憂鬱症。歡迎您一同參與這場跨領域的學術交流，共同探討AI與神經科學的未來發展。

To promote the next phase of Taiwan's national Brain Research Program, the Brain Research Office of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is planning to focus on Brain x AI - a theme that explores the interaction between artificial and biological intelligence. The goal is not only to apply AI technologies in brain science, but also to bring insights from neuroscience into the development of innovative AI research.

You are cordially invited to join us at the cutting-edge symposium, "Rethinking Intelligence: A NeuroAI Workshop," featuring an exceptional keynote by Academician Tsung-Jie Kuo, who will demystify modern AI and explore its deep parallels and distinctions with human intelligence. Three additional insightful talks will further bridge neuroscience and AI as follows. Prof. Chung-Chuan Lo will highlight neuroscience-inspired AI designs. Prof. Ya-Ning Chang will share innovative research connecting language, brain function, and computation. Prof. Chi-Hung Juan will present novel strategies integrating AI and neuroscience for treating depression.

This is a great opportunity to engage in meaningful academic exchange across fields and rethink the future of AI and neuroscience together.
